Jenks Christian Church
The purpose for the establishment and existence of River Oaks Christian Church is twofold, expressed by Jesus in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) namely:
- To be an influence upon our society through the Word of God, proclaiming God’s truth and bringing the lost into a saving relationship to God.
- To teach the Word of God to those who are in Christ, providing opportunities for study, prayer, fellowship, worship and service leading Christians to mature faith in their Christian life.

REACH…UPWARD IN WORSHIP INWARD IN COMMITMENT OUTWARD IN EVANGELISM
To these two ends, we dedicate all classes, programs, ministries, and functions of the congregation; that God may receive Glory, Honor, and Praise.
The specific goal of our classes, programs, and ministry groups is to enable each member of River Oaks Christian Church to:
know Biblical doctrine, be involved in a ministry or service for Christ, be identified with a group within the congregation,
encourage, equip, and motivate each to develop a personal devotion to prayer, Bible Study, outreach, and financial stewardship, and enable personal spiritual growth.
