Children Ministry

One of the most overlooked groups in our churches today is the children. This is why we deliberately have things for our Jenks Children Ministry. In our efforts to offer the Gospel to all people we have many opportunities for children and young families to get involved.

Small Group

We have classes for children of all ages and a nursery for infants. This time is used to teach our children of God, His love for them and how they can share that love with their friends.

Field Trips

We take various trips throughout the year. These trips are intended to show children that God is found even outside the walls of the church. We go to places that intended to stimulate and stretch young minds.

VBS

Every Summer we offer a vacation Bible school program. These programs bring the Bible alive with colorful characters and lessons. There are times for games, crafts, lessons, snacks and worship. It is also a great way for young parents to get involved!

Christmas Program

The Holiday season is busy for everyone with shopping, traveling, and anything else. We take this time to emphasize the reason for the season, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These programs are a creative way to re-tell the Christmas story, with our children acting as the main characters from the Bible story.

Sunset Bible Camp

At Sunset Bible Camp, our kids get to experience Christ in all new ways by getting out of the church and even out of their own homes! They get to join with other kids their age and experience times where the lessons are directed completely at them and where they are; being age specific.

Trojans for Christ

The Jenks Public Schools are kind enough to welcome local believers to offer a program before or after school. At TFC kids will experience games, music, lessons and be able to learn about God in a fun environment at their local schools.
